Job Description
Get Well Urgent Care is looking for an experienced, self-starter, fast learner, able to work in a fast pace environment Medical Assistant. The candidate must have very strong front office and back office experience. Back office duties : Room patients, take vital signs, administer injections, perform EKGs, eye exams, assist with DOT physicals, Sports physicals, ear lavage, EKG, administer vaccines for immunizations, flu vaccines, TB tests, collect specimens, run lab tests such as UA, HBA1C, lipid panel, pregnancy test, phlebotomy, application of dressings and bandages, etc; and other duties as assigned. Front office duties : Answer busy phones, schedule appointments, submit referrals as necessary, verify patient's insurance/s, scan records into patient's electronic file, and other duties as assigned
