Certified Medical Assistant (CMA)

MODA Aesthetic & Wellness is an award-winning Aesthetic practice located close to downtown Millbrae. We are seeking an experienced, energetic, passionate Medical Assistant (CMA preferred) to work part-time at our Millbrae practice on Fridays and Saturdays. The Medical Assistant will work under the supervision of MODA's Medical Director and our RN's. Here's what we're looking for:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Medical Assistant (CMA preferred)
• 3+ years' experience as a Medical Assistant in a high touch Aesthetics, Plastic Surgery or Medical practice
• 3+ years' experience in assisting Medical staff (MD, Nurse Practitioner) with hands-on patient care, assisting in pre
• and post-operative visits
• Familiarity with emerging aesthetics technology
• Able to educate aesthetic patients on procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong sales and closing skills preferred
• Medical Assisting Certification Preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with sterilizing instruments, sanitizing, preparing and supplying patient treament rooms
• Assist with prepping for in office procedures including BOTOX, Dermal Fillers, SkinPen Microneedling, Clear & Brilliant Laser, AviClear Laser
• Apply BLT numbing products before face/neck procedures
• Consult with new and existing patients on aesthetic services Greet patients, guide them back to the exam room, prep and attend to their needs during the office visit Answer calls as needed regarding patient care Schedule patients for follow-up visits
