In this vital role, you will support physicians and healthcare providers by performing clinical and administrative tasks in a fast-paced environment. Your dedication will help ensure seamless patient experiences, accurate documentation, and high-quality medical services across outpatient and inpatient settings. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your expertise in diverse medical specialties including dermatology, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and hospital medicine. Responsibilities Assist with patient intake processes by collecting medical histories, verifying insurance information, and updating electronic health records (EHR systems) Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates with precision and professionalism Prepare patients for examinations or procedures, ensuring comfort and safety during clinical activities Support physicians with procedures including medication administration, X-ray assistance, and basic life support (BLS) when necessary Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, ICD coding for diagnoses, and procedural notes in compliance with healthcare regulations Manage medical supplies inventory and ensure clinical areas are sanitized according to infection control standards Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures clearly, and fostering a welcoming environment Experience Prior experience working in dermatology clinics, hospital medicine units, urgent care centers, or emergency departments is highly desirable Demonstrated knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and medication administration protocols Hands-on experience with EHR systems and ICD coding to ensure precise recordkeeping Experience supporting inpatient care settings such as ICU or PICU environments is a plus Familiarity with hospital experience including Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers enhances your candidacy Knowledge of outpatient clinic operations across internal medicine or geriatrics specialties is beneficial Previous roles involving X-ray support or OR experience contribute to a well-rounded skill set for this position Embark on a rewarding career where your clinical expertise and compassionate patient care make a real difference.
