Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant/Receptionist, where you'll play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This energetic position combines clinical support with front-office responsibilities, offering an engaging environment for motivated individuals passionate about healthcare. You will be the friendly face patients see first, assisting with their needs while supporting medical staff with various medical tasks. Your proactive approach will help create a welcoming atmosphere and streamline patient flow in a fast-paced medical environment. Duties Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate efficient check-in processes using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Obtain and record patient vital signs, medical histories, and medication information accurately Assist healthcare providers with minor procedures and tasks such as varicose vein treatments, dialysis catheter removals, and basic wound care Manage appointment scheduling, patient intake forms, and follow-up communications to ensure seamless clinic flow Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas, including but not limited to exam rooms, reception area, and medical equipment Handle administrative duties such as answering phones, managing patient files, scanning documents, and addressing incoming/outgoing faxes Communicate and translate for callers, visitors, and patients as needed Preparing patient charts for providers on clinic days including creating a visit sheet, obtaining the necessary records, and ensuring the chart is up to date Experience Prior experience working in medical office or clinical setting is preferred Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical administrative support is preferred Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and medication protocols is preferred Join us to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives by providing compassionate care while supporting our healthcare team's success.
