This role involves providing both clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. As a Medical Assistant at our office, you will support clinicians and patients through a variety of tasks related to collaborative and compassionate patient care, with a focus on accuracy, quality, and timeliness. Administrative Duties:
Scheduling Insurance verification Answering phones
Clinical Duties:
Rooming patients for examinations and procedures, including taking and recording vital signs. Assist providers during exams and minor procedures such as EKG's, Spirometry, and Ear Lavages. Administer vaccines and medications as directed. Maintain and update patient records accurately. Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for use. Provide patient instructions and follow-up care guidance.
