  • Job Summary:
  • We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our Cardiology department. This role involves supporting our cardiologists in delivering high-quality cardiac care to patients. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cardiology and a strong commitment to patient health and safety.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist cardiologists with patient examinations and specific procedures.
Prepare and maintain examination and treatment rooms. Perform EKGs and blood pressure checks. Accurately record patients' medical history, vital signs, and other relevant information. Manage patient records, ensuring all documentation is precise and up to date. Facilitate communication between patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Provide patient education and support, answering questions related to cardiac health and procedures. Coordinate appointment scheduling and manage patient flow to maximize clinic efficiency. Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and safety standards.
  • Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional certification as a Medical Assistant preferred.
Previous experience in a cardiology setting is highly advantageous. Strong understanding of medical terminology, especially related to cardiology. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. (bi-lingual in Mandarin a plus) Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure. Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and delivering compassionate care.
