Newport Beach, CA Job Details Full-time 1 day ago Qualifications Medical office experience HIPAA High school diploma or GED Medical records Patient interaction Productivity software Medical terminology Full Job Description The Clinical Care Liaison is responsible for facilitating care across the practice. The position provides support for providers, clinical staff and patients and requires an understanding of the referral process. The Clinical Care Liaison works closely with the provider to ensure excellent patient navigation. Under general supervision, the Clinical Care Liaison helps to ensure a positive experience for our patients, overcome barriers to care and access quality care. Acts as a liaison between provider and the care team to ensure adequate patient navigation Handling patient referrals Assist with the elimination of barriers including, but not limited to: insurance, medical records, proper paperwork Perform effectively within the organization and interpersonally with co-workers Develop positive working relationships Demonstrate and apply knowledge of medical terminology, high proficiency of general medical office procedures including HIPAA regulations Back office duties (as needed) Vaccine/Medication administration (as needed) Phlebotomy EKG (as needed) Prior Authorizations Managing the patient experience from check-in to check-out You will also be asked to step outside of your routine duties to meet unexpected challenges to patient care from time-to-time. Clinical care liaison Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate Medical Assitant Diploma 1+ years of health care front office, intake, or billing experience Back Office Medical Assistant experience (preffered) Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines Proficiency with Microsoft Office Ability to multitask and work independently Excellent communication and organizational skills
