In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care, support clinical operations, and assist healthcare providers. Your expertise will help ensure smooth clinic workflows, accurate documentation, and compassionate patient interactions. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in a fast-paced medical environment while making a meaningful difference in patients' lives. Duties Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, updating records, and verifying insurance information using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems Measure vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration rate, and temperature to support accurate diagnoses Prepare patients for examinations and procedures in outpatient clinics or inpatient settings, including Level I and Level II trauma centers Support clinical procedures such as medication administration, X-ray processing, and basic life support (BLS) when applicable Maintain thorough documentation of patient interactions, ICD coding for diagnoses, and procedural notes with attention to detail Assist with specimen collection, wound care, and other clinical tasks related to dermatology, geriatrics, internal medicine, or surgical specialties Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, offering reassurance, and ensuring comfort during visits or hospital stays Requirements Certified Medical Assistant credential from an accredited program or institution Proven experience in outpatient or inpatient settings; hospital experience preferred especially within Level I or Level II trauma centers Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and medical-surgical procedures Familiarity with EHR systems for documentation and coding purposes Ability to perform vital sign assessments accurately and efficiently Experience supporting emergency medicine or urgent care environments is highly desirable Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service and teamwork Ability to handle multiple responsibilities including intake procedures, medication administration Bilingual preffered Join us to be part of a passionate healthcare team committed to delivering outstanding patient care across diverse medical settings.
