Expected Shift:
40 hrs/week 8am to 5pm SUMMARY Provides clinical and clerical support to providers and members of the patient care team(s) by performing a variety of back office and patient-related tasks supporting the delivery of high-quality patient care. Helps ensure smooth patient and workflow within the department and assists the patient care team in implementing the medical plan of care. Integrates education, technical competence, and patient interaction skills to gain confidence and cooperation from the patient, their family/support group, and other healthcare providers. Performs all duties under the direction of a clinician. SKILLS Work Settings Adult Outpatient Clinic Vital Signs Hearing screening Vision testing Obtain Vital Signs Prepare for Exam Record History/Medications/Allergies Set Up and Assist with Procedures Nebulizer Treatments Injections Immunizations Specimen Collection Labeling of specimens Throat Urine - UA/Clean Catch Venipuncture Laboratory Tests Blood Glucose via Glucometer Office Duties Telephone Triage Pharmacy calls/patient refill requests Professional Knowledge and Skills Administration of TB Test Follow up phone calls Suture Removal Rooming Patients Our client is the one of the largest Healthcare Staffing Provider in the United States, to be assigned at one of their affiliated hospitals/healthcare facilities.
