Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is hiring a Certified Medical Assistant in Pasadena, CA. This role is in person / onsite and is a float position supporting multiple clinic locations within the region. Please review the details below and apply with an updated resume.

Position Type:

Five month contract with possibility of an extension

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Pay:

$22 to $24.34 per hour

• This is a float position within Region 1 - LANE, covering locations from La Cañada to Glendora - Travel between multiple clinic sites may be required during the same shift or throughout the week Responsibilities of the

Certified Medical Assistant:

• Provide direct clinical support to providers during patient visits
• Room patients and obtain/document vital signs and medical history
• Prepare patients for examinations and assist with clinical procedures
• Administer injections, vaccines, EKGs, and point-of-care testing as needed
• Perform phlebotomy when applicable
• Accurately document patient information in electronic health records (EHR)
• Coordinate patient flow to support clinic efficiency and minimize wait times
• Respond to patient questions and provide basic care education and follow-up instructions
• Stock and clean exam rooms while following infection control protocols
• Support communication between providers, front office staff, and care teams
• Assist with scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations as needed
• Travel between assigned clinic locations to provide coverage as needed Qualifications of the

Certified Medical Assistant:

• Active Medical Assistant Certification required
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association required
• Previous experience in a clinical setting such as an outpatient clinic or medical office
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient care processes
• Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Reliable transportation required for travel between clinic sites

Pay Details:
