Western Slope Healthcare Center is looking for a dedicated Medical Records Assistant to help maintain accurate, secure, and compliant resident health records. 💼 What You'll Do As a key part of our team, you will: 📊 Maintain and organize resident medical records (paper & electronic) 🏥 Ensure charts are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulations 🔐 Protect confidential health information in accordance with HIPAA 📞 Respond to medical records requests and coordinate with staff and agencies 🗂️ File, retrieve, and track records efficiently 🤝 Collaborate with nursing, administrative staff, and consultants 📝 Assist with reports, audits, and documentation processes 🎯 What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Typing speed of 45+ WPM Strong computer and data entry skills Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred, not required) Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment 🌱 Why Join Western Slope Healthcare Center?
