- Processing new patient paperwork
- Verifying insurances
- Checking out patients with start on imaging/drug authorizations
- Understanding the basics of billing to collect copays and billing payments from patients before their visit
- Comfortable with patient interaction with a kind demeanor.
Phone responsibilities include:
- Making appointments: new/cancel/reschedule. For new patients, verifying insurance.
- Faxing records as needed
- Able to multi-task with multiple incoming calls at the same time
- Collecting payments over the phone
- Confirming patient appointments
- Calling referrals to schedule new appointments
Clinical Duties:
Patient Check in, Vitals, History Documenting all current medications and current/past conditions in EMR Performing injections Assisting Biopsy Uploading glucose meters, Insulin pumps and Monitors (training will be provided)Job Type:
