Medical Assistant

We are looking for an experienced Medical Assistant to join our team in our Pre-Op department. In this role, you will assist with pre-operative phone calls, documentation, and chart preparation. Promote a positive work setting by supporting the Pre-Op RN staff with a variety of tasks to include assembling patient charts and ensuring adequate supply. Maintain a clean, well organized and stocked environment . Demonstrate awareness of patient needs by maintaining a professional environment.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience

• Must have 1 year experience in an acute care setting Minimum Education
• High school diploma or equivalent, Medical Terminology course work Required Certification
• Current BLS certification Position requires a post-offer physical, drug/alcohol test and background check.
