Job Overview Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Plastic Surgery Medical Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will directly enhance patient experiences and support our skilled medical professionals. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive clinical and administrative support within a busy outpatient plastic surgery practice. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinic operations, exceptional patient care, and adherence to safety protocols. Responsibilities Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with the intake process to ensure a seamless check-in experience Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates accurately Prepare patients for procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort throughout their visit Assist providers during examinations and surgical procedures, including setting up sterile fields and handling instruments Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently by documenting patient interactions, updating medical histories, and coding diagnoses using ICD codes Support medication administration under supervision when necessary and ensure proper documentation of all treatments Maintaining safety standards and proper equipment handling Skills Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to plastic surgery and outpatient care. Proficiency in EHR systems for documentation, scheduling, and billing purposes Ability to perform patient assessments including intake procedures and vital signs measurement with accuracy. Familiarity with ICD coding for diagnosis documentation and medication administration protocols. Pay:
$24.00 - $30.50 per hour
