Raincross Medical Group Raincross Medical Group is seeking a motivated, bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Medical Assistant team member to support a Primary Care Physician in our Riverside clinic. We are looking for someone who is dependable, professional, and eager to grow into a leadership role as the practice expands. Position Overview We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support patient care and administrative operations within a busy clinical department. In this role, you will work closely with healthcare professionals to help ensure a smooth, efficient, and positive experience for patients. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, a commitment to quality care, and the ability to thrive in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and treatments in a professional and reassuring manner. Record patient information accurately, including vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant details. Assist providers during clinical examinations and minor procedures as directed. Maintain exam rooms, treatment areas, and equipment to support cleanliness, readiness, and safety standards. Coordinate patient flow, manage schedules, and help support timely rooming and follow-up processes. Communicate with patients regarding appointments, instructions, and basic questions within scope of role. Perform administrative tasks such as updating records, processing documentation, and supporting chart preparation. Follow established policies, clinical protocols, and confidentiality requirements at all times. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent training preferred. Current certification or willingness to obtain certification may be required, depending on department needs. Prior experience in a medical office, clinic, or healthcare setting preferred. Basic knowledge of medical terminology, clinical workflows, and patient care practices. Strong interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills. Ability to maintain professionalism, accuracy, and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Skills Experience with electronic health records and scheduling systems. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
