Job Description
About us Metropolitan Pain Management Consultants, Inc is a private medical practice in Sacramento, CA. For over 20 years, MPMC has been providing procedures to patients that increase quality of living. Our team is very dynamic and cross trained. We offer training for procedures with the physician, gaining valuable knowledge. We are engaging, fast-paced, rewarding and our goal is to provide interventional procedures that alleviate pain for our patients.

- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Take patient vitals, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist in administrative duties as needed, phones, scheduling, referrals & authorizations
- Prepare and maintain examination rooms and medical equipment
- Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens for testing
- Schedule patient appointments and manage medical records
- Provide patient education on medications, treatments, and follow-up care
Experience:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification
- Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Proficiency in NextGen EHR
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills As a pain management practice, employees are required to perform at pass drug screens.
