as a Medical Assistant in San Bernardino, CA, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care. This position offers a dynamic environment where you can grow your skills and make a difference in the lives of our patients.
Responsibilities:
Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform vital signs checks and document patient information accurately. Manage patient flow and ensure a smooth clinic operation. Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinical area. Schedule appointments and manage patient records electronically. Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families. Educate patients on treatment plans and follow-up care.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Current CPR and First Aid certification required. Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems. Compassionate demeanor with a patient-centered approach.
