• 32/hour DOE (commensurate with experience) Part-Time | Growth Opportunity | Multi-Specialty Exposure We are seeking an experienced, highly organized, and patient-focused Medical Assistant with strong dermatology experience to join our growing specialty medical practice team.

This role is primarily dermatology-focused, but the ideal candidate must also be comfortable assisting in ophthalmology/retina and ENT workflows as needed. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated MA who enjoys working in a fast-paced, high-level clinical environment with a collaborative team focused on exceptional patient care and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

Dermatology Responsibilities (Primary Focus) Rooming dermatology patients efficiently and professionally Assisting physicians with dermatologic procedures and exams Scribing/documenting encounters accurately in the ModMed EMR Preparing biopsy trays, procedure rooms, and supplies Assisting with: Biopsies Excisions Cryotherapy Cosmetic procedures Mohs support workflows (preferred) Taking high-quality clinical photographs when needed Reviewing pathology results and coordinating follow-up Prior authorizations and medication coordination Maintaining clean and organized treatment rooms Ophthalmology / Retina & ENT Support (Secondary): Assisting with patient flow in retina and ENT clinics as needed Basic ophthalmic testing experience is a plus: Visual acuity OCT familiarity Injections/procedure flow support Assisting with intake, documentation, and procedural setup Cross-training across specialties to support clinic operations

Qualifications Required:

Minimum 2 years of dermatology medical assistant experience Comfortable assisting with dermatologic procedures Strong EMR/documentation skills Excellent communication and patient interaction skills Professional demeanor and appearance Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinic Strong reliability and punctuality Team-oriented attitude

Preferred:

Experience in cosmetic dermatology Experience with Mohs surgery workflows Ophthalmology or retina experience ENT experience Scribing experience Spanish-speaking is a plus What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Calm under pressure Highly detail-oriented Efficient without sacrificing patient experience Adaptable and eager to learn Professional with patients and coworkers Able to anticipate physician and clinic needs proactively
