Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a medical office setting and possess strong administrative skills. As a Medical Office Assistant, you will provide essential support to our healthcare professionals and ensure the smooth operation of our office. Oppurtunity for growth as office lead or manager.
Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
  • Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
  • Collect patient information and update electronic medical records
  • Verify insurance coverage and process billing information
  • Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations
  • Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries and addressing concerns
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure efficient patient flow
  • Utilize Eaglesoft or similar software for appointment scheduling and record management
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in a medical office setting is preferred
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures is required
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and compliance is essential
  • Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus
