Job Summary Our Orthopedic Spine Center in San Francisco is seeking a full‑time or part time Medical Assistant to join our busy, patient‑focused practice. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your clinical skills in a fast‑paced specialty environment. Pre‑med students are strongly encouraged to apply —we love supporting future healthcare professionals. About the Role We are looking for a detail‑oriented, polished, and professional Medical Assistant with strong interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate is adaptable, calm under pressure, and able to prioritize effectively in a dynamic clinical setting. Key Responsibilities Review medical records and prepare exam rooms Room patients and take vital signs Record patient medical histories accurately Assist with patient communication and education Obtain authorizations and coordinate with insurance Support providers and staff with general clinical and administrative tasks Qualifications Completion of a Medical Assistant training program 1-2 years of hands‑on MA experience required Prior Orthopedic or Spine Surgery experience is a plus , but not required Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer literacy; EMR experience is a plus Professional, reliable, and patient‑focused Why Join Us?
