Schedule:
Monday - Friday Start time will vary between 6:00 AM and 9:00 AM 8-hour shifts 32-40 hours per week Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to join a busy Dermatology Department in San Marcos, CA. This is a full-time contract opportunity with the potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have ambulatory care experience, strong back-office clinical skills, and experience with specimen collection. Responsibilities Provide back-office patient care in a fast-paced dermatology clinic Room patients and obtain vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints Assist providers during examinations and minor dermatological procedures Collect, label, and prepare specimens for laboratory testing Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider Maintain accurate patient documentation within the EMR system Prepare and stock exam rooms and clinical supplies Follow infection control and patient safety protocols Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service Qualifications Current Medical Assistant Certification required Previous ambulatory/outpatient clinic experience preferred Experience with specimen collection strongly preferred Dermatology experience is a plus Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Benefits Competitive weekly pay Consistent full-time schedule Opportunity for contract extension Supportive clinical team environment Apply today to join a dedicated healthcare team and make a difference in patient care!
