Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description Qualifications:
Graduate from accredited medical assistant school Professional appearance and attitude Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Able to travel to satellite locations Must be Covid-19 vaccinated Must have a good driving record Duties include but is not limited to: Review Patient Schedule Appropriately room patients Vitals, Take Wound Photos for new patients Review previous chart notes and accurately document details of current patient visits Perform wound care, toenail care, and other services related to patient visit as assigned by the provider Obtain Cultures & bloodwork as ordered Prepare and send lab work to appropriate lab Review patient charges prior to check out Assist with inventory management Help with maintaining a clean and safe environment at the clinic Ability to travel to various satellite offices required Performs following wound care: Proper use of creams and ointments 3-layer compression wrap Silver alginate dressings Wound vac removal and replacement Wound irrigation Sanitization of Instruments Clean technique, hand washing, use of personal protective equipment Other duties as assigned by the provider and clinical leadership team.
Salary:
$16.66 to $19.00 per hour - dependent on experience Job type: Part-Time Ability to commute/relocate:
Santa Ana, CA:
Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required) Travel to offices in Santa Ana, Lakewood, and Laguna Hills, CA 25% - 50% Travel to satellite locations
