Medical Assistant

Overview Central Coast Orthopedics is looking for an experienced Medical Assistant for our orthopedic clinic in Santa Maria.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Great clinical skills with an understanding of basic anatomy
• Clinical experience in patient care
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Great communication skills, including phone and electronic forms of communication
• High computer literacy
• CMA, RMA or CNA a plus
• Ability to adapt to change
• Willing to travel between offices when necessary We are a physician-owned medical group, leaders in our community offering quality orthopedic care with 3 offices on the Central Coast.

The position is full-time, weekdays only with possibility of minimal overtime. We pay competitively and offer an excellent benefits package that includes medical, vision, dental, and free life insurance! Paid time off includes vacation, and sick leave. We also offer a generous 401K plan. An annual uniform allowance is also provided. To be qualified, you must have good clinical experience, a team player and able to work in a fast pace environment. Experience with patient care is a must. You will be part of a team of Medical Assistants. You must be a reliable employee, display a good attitude at all times, be someone that we can count on, a team player willing to help others, and present a professional appearance to our patients. Great communication and phone skills are a must. You will be using our medical software in a fast-paced office. Being able to multitask is essential.
