Job Description

Medical Assistant (Front & Back) | Temp Contract | Onsite |
Full Time Location:
Santa Rosa, CA 95404
Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm (No Weekends)
Pay Range:
Starts at $28/hr

ENT Clinic Responsibilities:
Answering calls in a cheerful manner. Greeting and check in patients. Schedule appointments and follow ups Rooming patients, obtaining vital signs, obtaining reason for visit, and documenting symptoms their frequency, and severity. Process insurance issues (i.e, verifications and authorizations). Documents all required information in electronic medical record. This includes meaningful Use data, Pay for Performance data, and ACO related information. Provide injections, immunizations and other patient care services as ordered by the medical provider. Provide assistance during medical procedures. Communication and correspondence including lab results, prescription management, and referrals: Use electronic medical records and work off "task lists" to complete patient visits or requests. Recognize urgent medical needs and triage care appropriately. Provides patients with accurate information when answering questions and concerns. Maintains patient records and protects patient confidentiality. Complete referrals accurately and appropriately.
Maintain patient areas and supplies:
Disinfects exam rooms between patients and all patient areas at end of the day. Assist with clinic upkeep, including daily cleaning and supply ordering/inventory.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or GED Required Medical Assistant Certification or Diploma from an accredited program (NHA or AMCA) Required BLS Certification Required 1 year of Medical Assisting experience in a physician's office or other clinical setting Required Allscripts Experience preferred
Randall Primary Pay:
$28.00 - $31.00 per hour
