Job Description

  • Job Overview:
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team.
As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care in a busy clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in medical assisting, with experience in Cardiology, electrophysiology. The Medical Assistant will work in our high pace setting supporting our team of physicians and mid levels in providing high-quality and efficient patient care. 2-3 times x week. Monday's, Wednesday's and Thursday's
  • Responsibilities:
  • Prepare patients for exams and procedures, including taking vital signs and updating medical records.
  • Assist physicians and nurses with exams, procedures, and treatments, including medication administration.
  • Perform routine administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and answering phone calls, sorting faxes etc
  • Conduct basic medical cardiac testing, including EKGs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
  • Provide patient education and support, including educating patients on medications and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and enhance the overall patient experience.
  • Skills:
  • Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, particularly in cardiology and emergency medicine.
  • Experience working in a clinic setting
  • Proficiency in medication administration and management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide patient education and support.
Pay:
$19.00
