$30.00/hr

8:00am•5:00pm (Monday•Friday) 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:
Assists in examination and treatment of patients Assist with certain administrative tasks and provide assistance at the front desk Measures vital signs, such as pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height, and records information as directed. Organizes and maintains a filing system for patient charts, including filing and pulling charts. Schedules appointments and enters appointment date and time into appointment book and conducts reminder calls to all patients. Operates electrocardiograph (EKG) and other equipment to administer routine diagnostic tests Performs phlebotomy and prepares specimens for lab pickup. Qualifications Certified Medical Assistant with prior primary care, occupational health or emergency/acute care experience a plus. Strong phlebotomy skills Current hands on training in AHA or ARC Basic Life Support for health care providers is required. Knowledge and experience with EPIC•Electronic Medical Records preferred. Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred Expected hours: 40 per week
