Job Description

We are looking for a part-time medical assistant to fill position in our single physician clinic. On average a clinic day, the practice sees 40 to 60 patients. Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred
REQUIRED
SARS-COVID-19 Vaccinated (Fully
COVID 19
Vaccinated) Prior experience is preferred in the following areas: Subcutaneous Injection administration
EMR Systems Administrative Duties:
Working with billing department Scheduling patients accordingly Insurance verification Answering phones Collecting co-payments Prescription authorizations
Clinical Duties:
Performing injections Sterilizing instruments Administering medications Vital Patients Skin Tests (Pricks not patches Biologics (Dupixent, Xolair, Fasenra, etc.)
Required Certifications:
BLS (AHA)
Job Types:
Part-time, Per diem
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 4 - 24 per week
