able to quickly record patient info, helpful if Bilingual(Spanish preferred), strong interpersonal skills, has experience, good time management Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rates with precision and professionalism Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and assisting providers during clinical assessments Collect specimens for laboratory testing and prepare them according to protocol while maintaining strict safety standards Administer medications or injections under supervision, adhering to all safety and procedural guidelines Operate diagnostic equipment such as X-ray machines or other imaging tools when required for specific specialties like radiology or emergency medicine Document patient encounters accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including ICD coding for diagnoses and procedures Assist with medical procedures in inpatient or outpatient settings, including surgical preparation in operating rooms or clinics Support hospital teams with medical-surgical tasks, geriatrics care, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), or Level I/II trauma center protocols as needed Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas, ensuring compliance with health regulations and safety standards Skills Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and basic life support (BLS) techniques to provide competent patient care Experience working in diverse healthcare environments such as hospital medicine, emergency departments, outpatient clinics, or specialized units like Geriatrics or Medical-Surgical wards Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and coding (ICD) procedures Ability to perform clinical tasks such as vital signs measurement, specimen collection, medication administration, and X-ray operation confidently Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations including inpatient units or outpatient settings Familiarity with hospital experience requirements for Level I Trauma Centers or Level II Trauma Centers is highly desirable Knowledge of medical-surgical protocols and experience supporting internal medicine or urgent care practices enhances your versatility in this role Effective communication skills to collaborate seamlessly with healthcare teams and provide clear instructions to patients Embark on a rewarding career where your skills will contribute directly to exceptional patient experiences.
