  • $21•$22/hr on W2 Requirement Active Medical Assistant License BLS from AHA 2+ years of experience Responsibilities Vital Signs & Patient Assessment Measure and record blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration rate, weight, height, BMI, and pain level.
Report any abnormal findings to the physician or nurse immediately and document all readings accurately in the EMR. Rooming Patients Escort patients from the waiting area to exam rooms, review and update their medical history, confirm current medications, allergies, and reason for visit, and ensure the physician has all relevant information before entering the room. Injections & Immunizations Prepare and administer intramuscular and subcutaneous injections including vaccines and other medications as directed by the physician. Follow proper injection technique, document administration, and monitor patients for adverse reactions. Phlebotomy & Lab Work Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws, label and process specimens correctly, and ensure timely delivery to the lab. Collect urine samples and perform basic urinalysis as ordered.
