- Full-time Join our growing medical practice: We are seeking a motivated reliable and patient focused medical assistant to join dynamic team.
This position will help support both front and back-office operations in a fast-paced GYN medical practice.
Qualifications:
OB/GYN experience preferred Medical receptionist experience preferred CPR and First Aid training preferred Phlebotomy certification is a plus Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English Must have basic computer skills Must have strong verbal and written communication skills Must be dependable, professional, and team-oriented EMR/EHR experience Front office duties but not limited: Answering phone calls Greeting patients with a smile Scheduling appointments Updating patient records Filing medical records Handling correspondence Completing insurance forms Assisting with billing tasks Arranging hospital admissions when needed Coordinating laboratory services Back Office duties but not limited: Rooming patients Taking medical histories Taking and recording vital signs Preparing patients for exams Explaining basic treatment procedures Assisting the provider during exams and procedures Collecting and preparing lab specimens Performing basic in-office lab testing Disposing of contaminated supplies properly Sterilizing medical instruments Setting up exam rooms Maintaining exam room supplies Keeping waiting areas and exam rooms clean and organized Assisting assigned medical providers If you are passionate about patient care and want to be part of a practice dedicated to health and wellness, we've loved to hear from you.
