Responsibilities Assist with patient intake by collecting medical histories, vital signs, and updating electronic health record (EHR) systems accurately. Prepare patients for examinations or procedures by explaining processes and ensuring comfort. Perform routine clinical tasks including monitoring patient vital signs. Manage medical documentation with precision, including charting in EHR systems and coding diagnoses using ICD standards. Coordinate patient flow within outpatient clinics ensuring timely appointments and efficient throughput. Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, offering reassurance, and maintaining a welcoming environment across diverse specialties like internal medicine. Qualifications Proven experience as a Medical Assistant in outpatient or inpatient settings; hospital experience preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and ICD coding standards. Hands-on experience with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Strong communication skills with a focus on patient service excellence.
