Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and adaptable Travel Back Office Medical Assistant to support our growing practice across multiple locations, including Ventura, Camarillo, Westlake, and Goleta/Santa Barbara. This position is designed for a candidate who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is comfortable working at different offices depending on where coverage is needed. A weekly schedule will be provided every Friday outlining which location(s) you will be working at for the upcoming week. Flexibility and reliable transportation between locations is required. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can quickly adapt to different office environments, provider preferences, and procedures, while maintaining a high standard of patient care and efficiency. Duties Include Setting up for and assisting with procedures Stocking and preparing exam rooms Patient rooming and escorting patients to exam rooms Taking X-rays as needed Preparing trays for procedures Chart preparation and review Assisting front office with phones, faxes, and referrals when needed Performing other back-office duties as needed at each location Qualifications Minimum of 1 year of experience in a medical office preferred Podiatry or specialty medical office experience a plus Reliable transportation required to travel between Ventura, Camarillo, Westlake, and Goleta/Santa Barbara locations Highly adaptable and comfortable working in different office settings on a weekly basis Strong organizational and communication skills Self-motivated team player with a desire to learn and grow with the practice Qualified candidates are encouraged to submit a resume and cover letter for consideration.
