Join our growing outpatient vascular and vein practice where you'll play an integral role in helping patients improve their health, comfort, and quality of life. We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish/English) Medical Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and enjoys providing exceptional patient experiences from check-in through treatment. About the Role This is a unique opportunity to work in both the front office and clinical setting , allowing you to develop a diverse skill set while working closely alongside an experienced physician.
Responsibilities include:
Front Office Duties Welcome and check in patients with professionalism and warmth Answer phones and assist patients with scheduling appointments Coordinate patient communications and administrative tasks Manage patient flow and support daily office operations Clinical Duties Room patients and obtain vital signs Document medications, allergies, and vital signs in the EMR Assist the physician with new patient evaluations and consultations Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical supplies Perform sterile preparation and assist during office-based vascular procedures Support patient care before, during, and after treatments What We're Looking For Required Qualifications Fluent in both Spanish and English Minimum of 2 years of Medical Assistant experience Comfortable working in both administrative and clinical roles Strong interpersonal and communication skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities EMR proficiency Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a busy medical environment Preferred Qualifications Experience in a surgical or procedural outpatient setting such as: Vascular Surgery Plastic Surgery Dermatology General Surgery Interventional or Specialty Clinics Experience with sterile technique and assisting during procedures is highly preferred. Medical Assistant Certification is not required for candidates with at least two years of relevant clinical experience.
