The Aesthetic Medical Assistant is a crucial in our clinic, providing exceptional front-line service. Responsibilities include greeting and assisting patients, scheduling appointments, managing phone calls, emails and texts, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Strong communication, organizational skills and a friendly demeanor are essential. Previous experience in a medical or aesthetic setting is preferred. If you embody professionalism and are passionate about delivering outstanding patient experiences, we'd love to have you on our team. Part-time with the option to add on more hours.
  • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience
  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain the appointment calendar
  • Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing and scanning documents and assist providers, as needed, for procedures, photos, consents, paperwork
  • Collaborate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and provide excellent customer service
  • Follow HIPAA guidelines to protect patient privacy and confidentiality Qualifications
  • Certificate of completion from an accredited program and a recognized certification (CCMA-C)
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in medical office administration is a plus
  • Proven experience as a medical assistant
  • Proficient in using electronic medical record systems and other office software applications
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues across different departments
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and processes is preferred
  • Familiarity with front desk operations in a medical office setting is highly desirable
