Westlake Village, CA Job Details Full-time $20 - $24 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications High school diploma or GED Document viewing software Productivity software Full Job Description We are a full-service litigation firm specializing in the representation of first responders (police officers, firefighters, and correctional officers). Our main office is in Westlake Village comprised of 16 attorneys and over 60 employees. Our firm represents clients in labor negotiations, internal affairs investigations, disciplinary appeals, administrative litigation, officer-involved shootings, criminal defense, personal injury litigation, employment litigation, and workers' compensation. This position works within an Intake team. The preferred candidate has a law firm (or other professional business) experience completing administrative tasks. However, strong experience in retail, reception, or other high volume customer service roles are welcome. This role includes a high volume of straight-forward tasks requiring efficiency and organization, followed by the ability communicate those tasks to our clients and attorneys. The candidate will be given the training needed to succeed.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Manage inbound and outbound calls with a high level of customer service. Conduct interviews with prospective clients to qualify and gather necessary information. Complete client intake forms and manage client communication. Use empathy to connect with prospective clients and help them understand the legal process. Demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills and the ability to quickly build rapport. Effectively communicate the services offered by the law firm to individual clients. Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to maintain focus and accuracy when multitasking. Work with case management software and other computer programs to manage client information.
Education and Experience:
High school diploma required, an associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Experience working in a customer service or call center setting. Prior experience working in a law firm or other legal setting is preferred.
