This role is essential in supporting the clinical staff and ensuring smooth operations within our medical facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in a hospital or clinic setting and possess a strong understanding of medical terminology. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Collect patient histories and vital signs accurately. Document patient information in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Nextgen experience a plus. Coordinate patient flow to optimize efficiency within the clinic or hospital setting. Provide basic life support as needed and assist in emergency situations. Educate patients on medication instructions, follow-up care, and health maintenance. Maintain confidentiality of patient information in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Requirements Previous experience as a Medical Assistant in an inpatient or outpatient setting is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology related to Vascular surgery preferred Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems is a plus. Nextgen.
