Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at our medical practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing quality care to our patients, maintaining accurate medical records, and assisting physicians and other medical professionals with various tasks.

Responsibilities:

Greet and escort patients to examination rooms Obtain patient medical history and vital signs Assist physicians during examinations Administer injections, medications, and immunizations as directed Schedule appointments and maintain accurate patient records Prepare and sterilize medical equipment and instruments Basic receptionist which includes checking patients in, answering phone calls, checking voicemail Work with billing department on claims submission and followup with insurance companies Perform other job related duties as assigned Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience Current CPR certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records If you are passionate about patient care and eager to join a dynamic and growing medical practice, please submit your resume and cover letter for consideration.
