Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the overall operations of our medical facility. - Perform basic medical procedures, including taking vital signs, collecting patient history, and assisting with examinations
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Assist with medical coding and documentation
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, such as X-rays
- Provide patient education on various health topics
- Give injections, such as immunizations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Ensure compliance with medical protocols and regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive patient care
Skills:
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy
- Excellent patient service skills, including active listening and effective communication
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
