Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic patient-focused Medical Assistant to help providers with care to patients in a functional health setting. We are looking for someone dedicated to assisting in all admin and clerical aspects, including initial consults, labwork, and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs routine administrative or clerical duties as assigned, including filing, reception, scheduling, and patient registration Under the direction and supervision of a provider or nurse, assists with performing patient care Performs basic clinical skills and specimen collection Communicates patient information and updates to the physician before appointments Follow up with the provider after each visit to complete orders, referrals, and next steps Documents patient care provided Draw blood samples using sterile phlebotomy techniques for laboratory testing while ensuring patient comfort and safety Maintains equipment and medical supplies, including reordering, stocking, and cleaning Maintains examination areas

Qualifications:

High School diploma or GED Certificate or Associate Degree from accredited program Phlebotomy certification preferred but not required Engaging and personable demeanor. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on building and maintaining relationships. Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.

Compensation and Benefits:
