Clinical Assistant
  • Boulder Neuro & Spine Associates Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $19.29
  • $26.90 an hour
  • Full Time, Days.
40 hours a week. Boulder Community Health is seeking a Clinical Assistant for Boulder Neuro and Spine Associates who will assist Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, and Physician Assistants by performing administrative and clinical duties.

  • College or community college graduate preferred
  • BLS certification required by the end of conditional period
  • 1•2 years of related experience preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Attends patient visits with the provider and records essential parts of the visit in the patient EMR.
  • Loads imaging into special viewing system prior to appointment
  • Prepares treatment rooms for patient examinations.
  • Cleans treatment rooms according to established guidelines following patient examinations.
  • Interviews patients to obtain their medical history in order to gather detailed information pertinent to the patient's appointment.
  • Records patient medical history, vital statistics, and test results in patient medical files.
  • Performs routine screening tests, such as height and weight measurements and blood pressure checks.
  • Cleans and disinfects medical equipment and instruments.
  • Properly disposes of contaminated supplies.
  • Facilitates messages between the Clinical Team and the patient.
