Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Medical Assistant to support our providers in delivering exceptional foot and ankle care. In this role, you'll work directly with patients, assist with clinical procedures, coordinate care, and help create a positive experience from check-in to check-out. This position is located at our Boulder office.
Medical Assistant Duties:
General medical assistance duties including but not limited to
  • Prepping patients for office visit
  • greeting and rooming them.
In office imaging, injections, procedures. Coordinating outpatient imaging and referrals. Phlebotomy when needed. Scheduling patients, making referrals, following up on records request when needed. Chart input, scanning, faxing and patient communication. Input of prescriptions either in EHR or when needed to be called in. Cleaning rooms/stocking rooms. Maintaining inventory with manager and other staff members. Answering office phones and returning patient calls in a timely manner. Office Hours Monday-Friday 8am-4pm Will be expected to stay later occasionally, pending staffing and scheduling.

Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
  • Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge,
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment,
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to accurately record patient information.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record systems for efficient data management.
  • Ability to provide compassionate care while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Requirements:
  • Preferred of a Medical Assistant Certification.
  • Preferred prior experience in a similar role.
  • Preferred valid CPR certification.
