Job Description
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate, and motivated medical assistant, to join our busy podiatry practice. The ideal candidate enjoys working in a fast paced environment, provides exceptional, patient care, and takes pride in being a reliable team player. This position requires excellent communication, skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Welcome Patients, perform X-rays, escort patients to exam rooms, help with patient intake forms, assist the physician with: examinations, treatment, injections and procedures, sterilize and prepare instruments, set up and breakdown procedure rooms, document patient information accurately in EMR, assist with prior authorizations, referrals, and medical records and surgery scheduling when needed, maintain exam rooms and ensure supplies are stocked and organized, answer phones and assist with scheduling, check out patients and help with retail items, maintain a clean professional and welcoming office environment, perform other duties as assigned to support the clinical team.
