) is currently seeking Medical Assistant candidates to join our Podiatry team! This position is full-time, working up to 40 hours per week. We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant for a local podiatry clinic. This is an immediate need. Medical Assistant experience preferred, Podiatry experience preferred but not required, Willing to train with some experience . Daily duties will include but not limited to vitals, rooming patients and triage-patient history, present to doctor, assist w/ various procedures, in-grown toenails, soft tissue procedures, ultrasound treatment, casting for orthotics, sterile assist, use electronic health system-EMR•we will train on our specific system. Some administrative duties to include receiving and returning patient phone calls, scheduling patients, and other various admin. support for the doctor and clinic. Word and Excel knowledge preferred. Applicant needs to relate well and communicate with patients, providers, and staff. Able to demonstrate self-direction in establishing priorities and working with little supervision once trained.
