! BONUS Opportunities We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Bi-Pap/C-Pap Specialist to join our healthcare team here in Denver, CO. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing expert support in the setup, adjustment, and management of Bilevel Positive Airway Pressure (Bi-Pap) and Continuous Positive Airway Pressure (C-Pap) devices. Your expertise will ensure patients receive optimal respiratory therapy, improving their quality of life. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a dynamic medical environment, contributing to patient care excellence across inpatient and outpatient settings, including hospital medicine, emergency medicine, and specialized clinics. Duties Assess patients' respiratory needs through detailed intake procedures, including vital signs and medical history review Educate patients on proper use, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Bi-Pap and C-Pap devices Program and calibrate devices according to physician prescriptions and patient-specific physiology requirements Monitor patient responses during therapy sessions, adjusting settings as needed for optimal comfort and efficacy Document all procedures accurately within Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems, including device settings, patient feedback, and treatment outcomes Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in hospital environments such as Level I Trauma Centers, Level II Trauma Centers, PICUs (Pediatric Intensive Care Units), and medical-surgical units Assist with medication administration related to respiratory therapies and perform basic X-ray assessments when necessary Maintain compliance with medical terminology standards, ICD coding protocols, and hospital policies for inpatient and outpatient care Support the integration of respiratory therapy within emergency medicine scenarios and urgent care clinics to ensure swift patient stabilization Uphold patient service excellence by demonstrating empathy, clear communication, and professionalism during all interactions Qualifications Proven experience working in hospital medicine or emergency medicine environments with familiarity in Level I or Level II trauma centers preferred Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and respiratory system functions relevant to Bi-Pap/C-Pap therapy Hands-on experience with medical administrative support tasks such as intake processing, vital signs collection, ICD coding, and documentation in EHR systems Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) is required Prior clinic experience or outpatient setting exposure is highly desirable; experience in geriatrics or internal medicine is a plus Knowledge of X-ray interpretation related to respiratory conditions is advantageous Ability to work effectively within fast-paced environments like urgent care centers or hospital units such as PICU or Geriatrics wards Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education in diverse healthcare settings Join us as a Bi-Pap/C-Pap Specialist to make a meaningful difference in patients' lives through expert respiratory support.
