In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to healthcare providers and patients alike, ensuring smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences. Your expertise in clinical procedures, medical terminology, and administrative tasks will help foster a welcoming environment focused on health, healing, and well-being. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including vital signs. Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and ensure cleanliness for each patient visit. Perform clinical tasks such as phlebotomy, and medication administration Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), ensuring accurate documentation of patient information, diagnoses (ICD coding), and treatment plans. Coordinate patient flow by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance information, and managing patient inquiries with excellent service skills. Maintain compliance with safety protocols and assist where needed. Experience Prior experience working as a Medical Assistant in hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, or urgent care settings is highly preferred. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and ICD coding standards. Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic health records management is essential. Proven ability to perform phlebotomy, vital signs measurement, medication administration, and basic life support certification are required.
