Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic and growing healthcare team as a Medical Assistant, where your enthusiasm and dedication will directly impact patient care and clinic efficiency. In this vital role, you will provide hands-on support to healthcare providers, assist patients through their visit journey, and ensure smooth clinic operations. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will help create a welcoming environment for all patients while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism. Responsibilities Prepare examination rooms by ensuring cleanliness, proper supplies, and equipment are ready for patient visits Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations by taking vital signs, recording medical histories, and preparing necessary documentation Collect and process laboratory specimens accurately, following safety protocols Schedule patient appointments, confirm upcoming visits, and manage patient flow efficiently Provide patient education on treatments, medications, and follow-up care instructions in a clear and compassionate manner Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) by documenting patient interactions thoroughly and confidentially Support administrative tasks such as answering phones, managing patient check-in/check-out procedures, and handling insurance documentation Experience Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a clinical support role is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates Knowledge of medical terminology, basic clinical procedures, and infection control standards is advantageous Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills to interact empathetically with patients and collaborate with healthcare team members Ability to follow detailed instructions precisely while maintaining a positive attitude and professional demeanor Limited scope X Ray operation preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) a significant plus Join us in making a difference every day! $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
