Assist the providers directly and indirectly with their efforts to give quality care to their patients. This involves a mixture of administrative medical assisting and clinical medical assisting tasks. Set the patients at ease and make them feel comfortable and important. Verify patient information by interviewing patient; recording medical history. Perform urinalysis and review labs for critical values. Schedule patients for tests and admissions to other facilities. Problem solve with patients on the phone regarding test results/complaints about illness. Refill approved prescriptions, copy charts, process medical records requests. IT'S A PLUS IF YOU HAVE THIS!
CPR/BLS. Bilingual in Spanish/English. Phlebotomy experience. CMA certification. Experience with eClinical Works (eCW). OTHER STUFF!
Voluntary vaccination policy Work hours are 8:00 to 5:00 Monday through Friday. Involves a mixture of 60% administrative tasks and 40% clinical tasks (room patients, review medical history, vitals, chart preparation, and EMR documentation). DFW and EEO. Western Nephrology, the premier Nephrology practice in the Denver Metropolitan area, began business in 1968 caring for people with kidney disorders. Today, Western Nephrology provides consultative services at numerous hospitals along the Front Range communities. The practice is comprised of 14 board certified Nephrologists at 5 clinics treating patients for a variety of nephrological conditions including acute kidney injury, hypertension, chronic kidney disease and End Stage Renal Disease. In addition hospital work, the providers and staff care for patients at nephrology clinics, dialysis clinics, and rehabilitation centers. Job Type:
