Medical Assistant

Crossroads Dermatology is seeking a part-time (up to 4 days/week) medical assistant to work in our busy dermatology practice. Duties will include rooming patients and taking their chief complaint(s) as well as relaying information to the provider, scribing diagnoses, assisting in medical procedures, and conducting patient education. Applicants with some background in a medical office environment are preferred, but a customer-service mindset is required. The successful applicant should be able to quickly become proficient with our iOS-based medical record software. Expect to also gain an in-depth knowledge of dermatology - We love pre-health students! We strive to be a warm, welcoming practice, and successful candidates will be able to relay that attitude to our patients. The ideal candidate will be willing to cross train for front desk duties as well. Candidates will work a 4-day work week, with weekends off. This position requires passing a pre-employment background check and drug test.
