Medical Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and administrative support in our outpatient medical facility. This role offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with focus on delivering high-quality patient care. Hours are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 10:00 to 6:00.

Duties:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations, including taking vital signs, medication intake and preparing patients for exams.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records.
• Handle medical administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, patient check in and check out and completing paperwork.
• Utilize electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems.

Experience:

• Minimum 2-year experience working in a medical setting is required.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medical administrative support.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems is essential.
• Ability to multitask, problem solve and work independently is required
