We are a busy five provider practice servicing the pediatric care needs of the community. As an Medical Assistant your responsibilities will include various patient care tasks including patient intake, Point of Care testing, update patient medical records, obtain vitals, and other duties as assigned in support of the physicians.
Duties:
  • Assist healthcare providers in patient examinations and procedures.
  • Administer medications under the supervision of a physician.
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments.
  • Monitor temperature, pulse, breathing, and blood pressure and keep accurate records
Qualifications:
  • Certification or diploma from an accredited Medical Assistant program.
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and physiology knowledge.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced pediatric healthcare setting
  • Possesses basic computer skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
